Custom AI tools and marketing automation

When nothing off the shelf fits, we build the tool: WordPress plugins, connectors to the systems you already use, and AI workflows that take repetitive work off your team’s plate. AI drafts and checks. Anything written to your customers is reviewed by a person, on your team or ours, before it’s sent.

AI is easy to demo and hard to trust.

A lot of AI tools are built to impress in a demo. Then they meet your real data, your brand rules, and your customers, and somebody has to check everything they produce. We build the other kind: narrow tools that do one job well, with the checks built in. Anything written to your customers is reviewed by a person, on your team or ours, before it’s sent.

Our own tools

  • An AI SEO and GEO plugin. Content analysis for AI answer engines, structured data, internal links, sitemaps, and redirects, all in WordPress. See SEO and GEO.
  • An AI naming engine. It generates name candidates, checks domain availability, and screens for trademark conflicts before anyone gets attached. A trademark screen isn’t a legal opinion; your attorney makes the final call.
  • A cache warmer. It rebuilds a site’s cached pages after updates, so the next visitor isn’t the one waiting.
  • Connectors to Google’s measurement tools. Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console data pulled straight into our reporting.
  • A team of AI agents. Specialists, each with a defined job, where no agent approves its own work (more below).

We build custom tools for clients, too. We show them here only with each client’s OK.

How we run AI: like a team, with rules

AI is built into our own workflow, which speeds up the work, and AI-assisted checks test each build against current best practices, to keep our work aligned as those practices change. Using it every day is how we know where AI helps and where a person needs to decide.

We run a team of specialist AI agents, each with a defined job. The rule that holds it together is simple: no agent approves its own work. Significant work is checked by a separate reviewer, never by whoever did the work. Anything we publish on your site goes live only with our founder’s sign-off, and anything written to your customers is reviewed by a person, on your team or ours, before it’s sent. Routine technical tasks, like monitoring alerts and search-engine update notices, run automatically.

That’s the same standard we’d hold a human team to.

Sometimes the right tool already exists.

If there’s a better way to do something that will save you time and money, we will recommend it to you. That includes off-the-shelf software. We build custom only when the job is specific enough, or the stakes are high enough, that a generic tool keeps getting it wrong.

How a custom tool project runs

  1. Define the job and the number. What the tool has to do, and the number it should move: minutes per task, errors caught, inquiries answered.

  2. Build small. The narrowest version that does the job, tested on real cases.

  3. Keep people in the loop. Anything we publish on your site goes live only with our founder’s sign-off, and anything written to your customers is reviewed by a person, on your team or ours, before it’s sent.

  4. Document it, so it’s never a black box.

  5. Measure it against where you started.

How we measure it

Before we build anything, we agree on the number it should move: minutes per task, errors caught before publishing, response time on inquiries. Then we measure it against the baseline.

Questions people ask

Will AI write to my customers?

Only as a draft. Anything written to your customers is reviewed by a person, on your team or ours, before it’s sent.

What happens to our data?

Google account data you connect is accessed only with your permission, used only to deliver analysis, reporting, and campaign management to you, never sold, and never used for advertising. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You need to know the job you want done. We’ll handle the rest and explain it in plain English.

What does your team do over and over?

Tell us the task. We’ll tell you whether it needs a custom tool, an off-the-shelf one, or nothing at all.
